Appointments

Please ring (07) 5482 5899 for an appointment or use our online booking service . If you need more time with the doctor, please tell the receptionist when you make your booking. Urgent medical problems will always be dealt with promptly. Please advise the surgery if you are unable to keep an appointment.

Our Hours are:

  • Monday-Friday: 8.10am – 5.30pm
  • Saturday: 8.30am – 11.30am
  • Sunday & Public Holidays: Closed

Fees

We are a mixed-billing Practice

  • Full payment at the time of consultation by cash, cheque, Visa, MasterCard or EFTPOS is required.
  • All childhood immunisations are bulk-billed.

Standard consultation fees are:

  • Private Patient $79.50
  • Health Care Card Holder $75.50
  • Pensioner $72.50
  • Kids under 12 are Bulk Billed

Longer more complex consultations will be charged at a higher fee, however the out of pocket expense will remain the same. Enquiries relating to fees for after hours call-outs, home visits and procedures should be directed to a receptionist.

Telephone Calls

The doctors will take phone calls relating to you or your family’s health. If seeing patients when you call they may have to call you back. The Practice does not receive emails or SMS’s from patients.

Prescriptions

Prescriptions for medications taken regularly can be obtained without appointment, providing they have been previously prescribed by this practice. Requests can be made by phone, letter or by calling in at the surgery between 10am – 4 pm. Two (2) working days notice is required.

If the script is collected by an agent (not the patient) then a small professional fee ($15) will apply which is non refundable from Medicare.

Pathology Results

The Practice will contact you regarding any abnormal results to book a follow up appointment. Please feel free to contact the Practice regarding any concerns you may have regarding results.

Medical Records

Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this Practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.
You may request a copy of your medical records by contacting the Receptionist. A charge of $25 for a full copy of medical records would apply, however a Health Summary is supplied free of charge. For more information please request a copy of our Privacy Policy.

Complant/Grievances/Suggestions

Complaints should be addressed to the Practice Manager either in writing or by phoning and asking to speak to the Practice Manager. The Practice Manager would be happy to discuss any complaints or suggestions face-to-face. If you feel your complaint has not been resolved, you may also like to lodge a formal complaint to:
